While I’m throwing up @Combat_Jack shows, this one with Neal Brennan (former Dave Chapelle writing partner) is great. Just Blaze is also there as well. I used to DJ the radio show right before The Combat Jack show on PNC, and that’s how I became familiar with it. Combat used to be Jay-Z’s lawyer, and he apparently did the deal for “Reasonable Doubt”.
Very proper and thorough interview with @Atrak on @Combat_Jack show w/ @Dallas_Penn from 4/25.
I used to DJ right before the @dallas_penn @combat_jack show at @pncradio for the Ear Peace. @adREALzzz and @LindaLights put me on to their whole movement. This dude Dallas Penn has me rollin’ every time with his commentary. Hip-Hop is severely lacking humor. It’s why I shy away from a lot of Hip-Hop music, shows and people.
I went to the Bring Your Own Blogger BBQ Dallas and Combat Jack did last week though, where Action Bronson and Danny Brown performed. The show was produced with JellyNYC It was a nice turnout. I had to leave to go DJ elsewhere right before the main performances, but it was starting to really crack off when I left.
Combat Jack is a “hip-hop celebrity” according to his wiki page, and he’s been a lawyer for Jay-Z and many other music entities. He also works with The Source.
Dallas Penn is an”INTERNETS CELEBRITY”, and an extremely popular blogger. I don’t know much more about him. Dallas, can we get a proper bio??
Check out Dallas’ kooky “Outdoor Concert DOs and DONTs” segment video above. The video features a bunch of local Hip-Hop yokels like photographer Photo Rob, and Roni from Decon.
